| BRTC Blemish Recover Balm - BB Cream | L'EGERE White Multi Blemish Balm BB Cream | |
|
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION |
|
GOOD FOR:
|
| MADE IN | supposedly the #1 BB Cream in Taiwan | supposedly the #1 BB Cream in Korea |
| NET CONTENT | 30 ml or 1.06 fl.oz | 50g or 1.68 fl.oz |
| PRICE | PhP 900 wehaveit43.multiply.com | PhP 1,000 wehaveit43.multiply.com |
here are the swatches on the back of my hand: ![]()
- Top swatches show the product straight from the tube.
- Bottom swatch shows creams slightly blended out.
- I had a third set of pictures where both creams were completely blended out on the back of my hand. Those were pretty useless since they looked exactly the same at that point.
Now on my face:
- On my bare skin you see all my freckles and that red zit mark on the lower part of the photo.
- With BRTC, flaws are covered pretty well, redness is significantly toned down, but you do see a slight white cast over the skin.
- With L’egere, skin tone is more even, less redness, although flaws are still quite noticeable. White cast over the skin isn't as significant.
I say:
| BRTC Blemish Recover Balm - BB Cream | L'EGERE White Multi Blemish Balm BB Cream | |
|
TEXTURE/ CONSISTENCY |
|
|
| SCENT | insignificant | insignificant |
| COVERAGE | medium | light to medium |
| SHADES | comes in 1 shade only | comes in 1 shade only |
| BLENDABILITY | Points for ease in blending definitely go to L’egere |
| OIL CONTROL | Points for oil control go to BRTC, although L’egere does a pretty good job as well. Don’t expect the same kind of oil control from a mattifying foundation, though. You might still have to blot or re-powder after a while. |
| VALUE FOR MONEY | With Legere, you get more product for less money, but with BRTC, you get more coverage with less product. So i guess it depends on what you’re going for. |
|
MY WINNER? | Let me first say that I really do happen to like both products, and do not regret purchasing either. If my skin were better and I didn’t need as much coverage as i do now, then L’egere would probably have won because #1 it’s cheaper, and #2 it feels so much lighter on my skin. But because I need good coverage to hide the evidence of the nasty quarter-life breakout I just went through, (LOL) I would have to say that the BRTC Perfect Recover caters more to what my skin needs at the moment. |
…hope this was helpful! :)

This was really helpful, thank you! I've been looking through things to see what to buy and now I have better options. :)
really helpful!
I've been contemplating on buying BRTC cream, thanks for the review ;) the only problem now is they come in 1 shade only?
ooppss forgot to include this,
I've seen a website before saying they have two shades for BRTC. But i've asked around multiply sellers and they said BRTC comes in 1 shade only.. so confusing coz the website that I saw is supposed to be a Korean/Japanese website selling BB creams.
wonderful post! I never tried any BB creams but I really want to! I might have to go to my local asian market to pick one up. Too bad they dont come in darker colors though
@Em: yup.. as is the case w/ most bb creams. im not sure why, but they all usually come in just 1 or 2 shades. =(
I have yet to try a bb cream, the small shade selection kinda sucks. :[
hi ladies! thanks for the comments... =) they supposedly melt into your skin and magically blend into ur skin color or something. i dont know. =P
but i think they're still better suited for those on the fair side...
I still wanna give it a try :D if I ended up not liking it or if it will not match, I'm just gonna sell it on ebay. hehe thanks again for this review! ;)
